Email Deliverability

Just to make sure everyone using infusion soft knows. If you haven’t had your domain hosting company enter in your CMIK name (cname) and SPF records from Infusionsoft into your domain, this is a MUST. This was huge for me. Almost 100% for my emails were going into SPAM or Promotion folders. As soon as the process was completed – straight to inbox.

If you haven’t yet. Go to Marketing then to “Email Authentication” enter in your domain the. Copy and give to your domain company. Also search IS for SPF record instructions. Give these to your domain hosting company at same time as above.

Infusionsoft Email Performance Toolkit

Your email reputation is a very important part of your being able to continue marketing automation over time. If you’re marketing is automatically creating contacts in Infusion Soft the attachment is an important read for you. You never know who is submitting on a FB Lead Form or other Web Forms. If you’re getting a lot of bogus email address submissions or attracting low-quality contacts that will eventually report you as SPAM, it will eventually catch up to you and could ultimately shut you down.

Also, I recommend that you set up: https://www.listcleaner.io/ List Cleaner checks your incoming email addresses and you can apply tags to the bad, ok, and great emails that are coming into your automation. Then you can use these tags to pull out the email address that can negatively affect your reputation. I set up the BAD tagged email addresses to go to an empty sequence named “Bad Email Park” so I can review them to find out if it’s just a bogus submission and I should delete that contact, call them first, or maybe let them in.
